WHY HIRE A PUBLICIST?

It is accurate to say that publicity means free stories about you, your
talent, and/or your company in the media.  Publicity gives you and/or your
company staying power, credibility, and stature.  Public Relations is an
excellent weapon in any well-stocked marketing arsenal.  Any marketing
plan  that fails to include some effort of public relations is a marketing plan
that more then likely will not be remembered.

Every marketing plan calls for a combination of advertising and public
relations. Advertising is the most expensive method of getting your name,
image, talent, or company out to the media.  Direct marketing  and online
marketing are the second and third  most expensive method.   Public
Relations is the least expensive, however it is the most time consuming.

If you are too busy to make an average of 10-20 phone calls every day on
your behalf, then you might want to consider hiring a public relations firm
that has the time to consistently create optimal PR campaigns, as well as
provide and secure strategic media opportunities. The same goes for
special events that you might be hosting (i.e. record release party, poker
run, book signing, car show, etc.)

Nina Denny Public Relations strives to make sure each press campaign is
geared  toward your individual  needs and personal growth.    Please
keep in mind that  expenses ( i.e. mailers, phone bill, folders, fees for
contests/festivals etc.)  are  extra and will be billed separately at the end
of each month.  You can however  reduce these monthly expenses by
obtaining your own mailers, folders, etc for  your campaign and sending
them to Nina Denny Public Relations  by your  individual press campaign
start date. The Nina Denny Public Relations staff  believes in keeping an
open line of communication with their clients that is why  hey make sure to
give each client a monthly press report on the status of their
campaign.

"Without a good PR and Marketing plan
something terrible happens...NOTHING!
"

A publicist, agent, and booker  knows the industry lingo, which makes
most professionals want to speak with them as opposed to the client
themselves.  That is why Nina Denny Public Relations does advise that
each client refrain from contacting the press, promoters,  publishing
houses, and record labels while in contract with Nina Denny Public
Relations  Such attempts by the client are rarely successful unless you
already have a working relationship with that  professional.

And let’s face it, when it comes to your own work you can’t be completely
unbiased.  When you hire the Nina Denny Public Relations team, we will
compose a sound pitch, along with a well-constructed press kit for you
and approach the industry on your behalf with tact, creativity, and
common courtesy.

However, in order for this relationship to work, the client must be willing to
do hard work as well.  Nobody can replace the client at the center of his or
her success nor would we want too.  There are a lot of behind the scenes
work that each client can do to help promote his or her business venture.
Nina Denny Public Relations will give you ideas and tips along the way to
help make your venture a success.  Remember good communication with
your representative is key to any successful campaign.

Nina Denny Public Relations does prefer that any client in contract with us
refrains from hiring an additional PR company, booker, or agent without
our knowledge and written consent.  The reason for this is that the
industry resents it when  they have been pitched a story, idea, or client to
them that they have already passed on.   This does reflect poorly on the
client and looks very unprofessional.   It could also hurt any chance of this
person taking a second look at the client.

Nina Denny Public Relations would hate to lose any opportunity due to
poor communication and/or lack of materials that is why we ask our clients
to have all materials CDs, photos, stickers, books, or other merchandise
shipped to the Nina Denny Public Relations  office prior to each campaign
start date.  We also ask that all details regarding tour dates, events,
release dates, etc be communicated to our office ASAP.  Lack of materials
and poor communication will hold up your campaign and we would hate for
you to lose any opportunity due to these two avoidable situations.

If you are trying to market your business venture and are not getting the
attention that you deserve, then consider the convenience of hiring a pr
and marketing firm that can handle all your media woes.  Keep your
company, image,  event, and/or talent in the spotlight for the fraction of
the cost with the expertise and professionalism of Nina Denny Public
Relations. We might not be costly like bigger PR firms, but we are
extremely cost effective.
