During her career, Nina has won several prestigious awards including; membership in the National Association
of Profession Women for 2009/2010, Who's Who Among Executive Professional Women for two consecutive
years 2007/2008 and 2009/2010, The Palladium Times Award for Journalism, The Faculty Award for
Journalism, The Jim Kenyon Award for Broadcasting, and The Gold Key Award for Broadcasting Excellence.
She has also had the opportunity to see both sides of the industry when she when she was an Afternoon
Drive Time DJ on Commercial Radio Station 99 Hits FM, a Judge at The Long Island Music Festival Battle of
the Bands, and a newspaper reporter for the Watertown Daily Times.
In addition to being a Public Relations Specialist IV, Nina is also a renown poet that has been published in
various publications and anthologies since her early teens and has self-published a collection of poetry
entitled Reflections, which can be viewed at the Ogdensburg Public Library. She has hosted several Limerick
Poetry Classes for children as part of the Frederic Remington Fall Festival and the Ogdensburg Public
Library Summer Reading Program.
Nina Is an Associate Member of PR Web, a member of Open Press International., and an honorary member
of the Friends of the Ogdensburg Public Library. Nina Denny Public Relations was chosen to bear the
2003/2004 Golden Web Award in recognition of creativity, integrity and excellence on the Web.
